The inward gyre dominates: Trump’s Aureas Score – revised June 12

Today, in honor of William Butler Yeats (born June 13th 1865 in Dublin), we explore the lasting influence of his most ubiquitous poem, “The Second Coming.” Written in 1919, the poem is considered a towering achievement of modernist poetry. Yeats drew on Christian apocalyptic imagery to capture the violent chaos of the political turmoil in Europe at the time, and to warn of further dangers on … Continue reading The inward gyre dominates: Trump’s Aureas Score – revised June 12

DJT’s Birthday and the Year Ahead

Astrologers like to review a person’s horoscope around the time of their birthday to see what can be seen about the year ahead.  As you may know POTUS (DJT) had his 71st on June 14.  The Solar Return is typically one of the primary reference charts that the astrologer will study.  Below is DJT’s Solar Return for 2017.   You may notice that the date … Continue reading DJT’s Birthday and the Year Ahead

Venus as Inanna at the 3rd Gate

The Venus, Moon conjunction this month was June 20, at 6:24 PM EDT, Washington D.C. at 14 Taurus 52.  I was ‘out of the loop’ last week so I didn’t make the deadline for getting this out before the conjunction occurred. As I explore this subject of ‘shamanistic Venus’ I want to incorporate some of the insights of Dane Rudhyar, particularly his work on aspects. … Continue reading Venus as Inanna at the 3rd Gate

Climate Change: God’s on it

Andrew Jackson Kills Charles Dickinson in Duel

On May 30, 1806, Andrew Jackson and Charles Henry Dickinson met in a duel in Nashville, Tennessee.  Charles Henry was an excellent duelist with 26 kills under his belt. The animosity between the two men seems to have started in 1805 over a bet at a horse race. Jackson and Dickinson were rival horse breeders with a long-standing hatred of each other. Dickinson accused Jackson … Continue reading Andrew Jackson Kills Charles Dickinson in Duel

Venus as Innana at the Second Gate

At sunrise this morning, May 22,  we were treated to a conjunction of the Moon with Venus.  The conjunction did not occur exactly at sunrise, however, that was later at 10:09 AM EDT, at 16 Aries 24. The two appeared very close together because Venus is only 2 degrees of declination the right of the Moon, in addition to being  in conjunction by longitude.  This … Continue reading Venus as Innana at the Second Gate
